Dutch legend Nicky Romero has linked up today Vietnamese-French DJ Florian Picasso to brighten our day with an upbeat progressive house track. "Midnight Sun" is a great track to get you ready for summer. It draws from both artists stylings to create a festival banger that you are sure to see this festival circuit.
The track opens with a pounding four-on-the-floor beat as the distant vocals open up. It has all the elements of a classic progressive house track. It was built for the big room and will get fans singing along from start to finish.
"Working with Florian is always a pleasure, and we have a ton of fun in the studio," said Nicky Romero (real name Nick Rotteveel van Gotum). "From the moment we started on this record I knew it was special and it all finally came together when we connected in Miami for Ultra. I'm hoping the fans will love it as much as we do."

The new collab with Zai1k comes paired with a trippy Y2K visualizer designed to make you smile.
"'Midnight Sun' has a lot of my own style, but Nicky took it to the next level and really helped the record to get to its full potential," Picasso added.
As the Protocol Recordings label head, van Gotum has been on a stream of constant releases. From his collaboration with W&W, Dallask and Ft. XYLØ, Teamworx, and David Guetta, he is making 2019 count. You can catch him live on his world tour, as well as at Tomorrowland and Creamfields.
Picasso, the great-grandson of the legendary artist Pablo Picasso, has made a name for himself in dance music. He gained fame from his works with Martin Garrix and Steve Aoki. With this latest collaboration, there looks to be upward movement for this producer.
