In honor of their ten-year anniversary, the longstanding Youtube channel-turned record label and media company UKF have been on a year-long UKF10 campaign releasing exclusive tracks from the imprint’s alumni. The most recent artist to add to their catalog is Oliverse with his classic dubstep track, “Take Me Down.”
Known from their oldest channel, UKF Dubstep, Oliverse rewinds time and commemorates the decade-old brand in “Take Me Down” by capturing the true essence of early dubstep. The track takes a step back from the more aggressive, punchy tones of modern-day dubstep and brings listeners back to the roots of it all through melodic, groovy, and nostalgia-inducing beats and bass lines.
“I’m so honored to be part of UKF’s 10-year celebrations,” he wrote to Twitter. “When I first started listening to dubstep in 2009, I found 99% of it through UKF Dubstep. Mad!”
The UKF10 campaign has also featured exclusive tracks from AC Slater, Matroda, Truth, Camo & Krooked, and many more. Fans can keep up to date with more exclusive releases to come by following the UKF10: Ten Years of UKF playlist on Spotify.
