The next artist to join the likes of Daft Punk, Skrillex, and deadmau5 in having their own BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix is one of bass music's marquee acts, Rezz.
The 24-year-old producer shared the news on Twitter. She revealed that her mix would include two hours of new and old music, all of which would be original.
When asked about an expected premiere date, she told a fan to look forward to it sometime around the release of her upcoming EP, Beyond The Senses, set to drop later this month. It's not clear whether she means before or after the EP's release, meaning we might get an early look at some of her new songs before they come to light.
This will not be the first time Rezz (real name Isabelle Rezazadeh) released an extended original mix. Back in October, she released her Nightmare On Rezz Street audiovisual mix in honor of Halloween.
