Rezz is reimagining a Porter Robinson track if her Twitter feed is any indicator. Last year, the former artist served up a compelling remix the latter's Madeon collaboration, "Shelter." Now, an entry from the tracklist of his 2014 album is in her sights.
Last night, Rezz (real name Isabelle Rezazadeh) tweeted that she was "working on a remix" of one of the songs from Worlds - arguably the album that saw Robinson come into his own as a recording artist. "I hope I finish this one!" she joked.
Rezazadeh and Robinson have each emerged as fixtures of the post-EDM landscape. As the youngest wave of electronic music fans outgrew the main stage, both artists offered up sounds that resonated with their evolving musical sensibilities. For that reason alone, it makes sense for Rezazadeh to cross pollinate her fan base with that of Robinson by way of another remix.
Rezz also recently released 32 minutes of new music comprising her Nightmare On Rezz Street Halloween mix. She has not revealed which Porter Robinson track she will remix or when she plans to release it at the time of writing.
