Countless artists were deeply wounded from the loss of Swedish DJ/Producer Avicii. Last year, Rita Ora collaborated with the late artist in the single "Lonely Together." The pop singer has been devastated by the passing of Avicii and paid tribute to him in her highly anticipated sophomore album, "Phoenix".
In a recent interview with A-List Magazine, Rita Ora (real name Rita Sahatçiu Ora), announced she added the Avicii track to her album - which originally had no plans to be in it. The studio album is scheduled to be released this Friday, November 23rd. She said she considered Avicii a "good friend" in a recent statement about her decision.
“I am paying homage to him by putting "Lonely Together" on the album. We are holding the flame for him. He was an incredible person and such a talent. We were very good friends and he changed my life. In a way, the album is dedicated to him.”
