RL Grime (real name Henry Steinway) has unveiled via Twitter that his annual Halloween mix, aptly dubbed Halloween 8, will come out on October 31st. Fans have been hotly anticipating the release of his latest mix, so this update should come as a pleasant surprise to most.

Steinway has impressed fans year after year with his eerie, Halloween-inspired mixes that feature nods to and even a voiceover from Goosebumps author RL Stine, the inspiration behind his stage name. Last year, Shaq hopped on the opening voiceover amidst all the hype surrounding his performance at Lost Lands.

Steinway's influence stretches far and wide. He's shone as one of the most talented dance music producers of this generation. His debut album Void was well received and included his unforgettable hits like "Core," "Scylla," and "Kingpin" featuring Big Sean. His sophomore album Nova came out last year to similar praise, featuring collaborations with Joji, Miguel and Julia Michaels, Daya, 24hrs, and more. Steinway also recently launched his own label, Sable Valley.
