Everybody knows the drill nowadays. If you have a track you can't wait to share, chances are, you have your streaming site of choice to share the music you love. Have a playlist you want to put together? No big deal. Put it on Spotify. Have a great track you just discovered and want to share with the world? Repost it on your Soundcloud account. While the era of music streaming is firmly in bloom, that doesn't mean that other forms of music releases are irrelevant. In this case, rap duo Run The Jewels decided to take a unique route for their latest release.

In collaboration with Adult Swim, Run The Jewels have released a remix of their track, "Stay Gold" via the programs singles program. For those of you not familiar with the format, Adult Swim has a program where every week, they release a new song for free. The group also released the remix on vinyl for Record Store Day this year. As for the remixers themselves, the duty of re-imagining Stay Gold was done by long time RTJ collaborators, Smiff and Cash.

This release is just the beginning for Run The Jewels this year as they have also been announced as the headlining act for Adult Swim's inaugural festival. Other acts confirmed to perform at the festival include Thundercat, Dan Deacon, Big Freedia, Code Orange, comedian Hannibal Burress and many others.  The duo will also be performing at the Provinssi Festival in Finland, Finsbury Park in the UK and the Float Festival in Texas throughout the summer.
