Seven Lions fans may recognize his newest release as a tone-setter within his sets. Seven Lions (real name Jeff Montalvo) returns with Crystal Skies to present "Sojourn" out via his own label, Ophelia Records.
The high-energy melodic dubstep track has been in Seven Lions' possession for quite some time, but the veteran producer finally decided now was the right time to officially release it. "Sojourn" has been kicking off his shows as the introductory track of his the Journey II tour.
Crystal Skies (real names Britian Holcomb and Aaron Dawson) have rapidly been making their mark on Ophelia Records, with their recent releases "Never Change" and "Carbon." Given their voluminous sound, in hindsight perhaps we should have seen a collaboration between these two acts coming. Nonetheless, Crystal Skies have come on strong this year and are already making an impact in shaping future trends within melodic dubstep.
