Bass From Space: Shlump Debuts New EP "Lazer Beam" [Listen]
Santa Cruz local Michael Petzel, better known to bass heads as Shlump graced us with his debut Lazer Beam EP, out now via Zeds Dead's DEADBEATS label.
Self-proclaimed alien bass music maker, there's no questioning why he labels himself this way. His tracks have a wonky etherial quality about them. Otherworldly perhaps?
The bass is nice and wonky. The listener doesn't get a chance to get comfy here, his pulsating synths keep us on our toes. It's an impressive debut EP for sure.
