Skrillex is going back to the drawing board it seems, as a new photo suggests the superstar producer is collaborating with DJ Scheme and Ski Mask the Slump God on a new record.
DJ Scheme posted a photo of himself, Skrillex, and Ski Mask to Instagram with the caption "Y'all wana [sic] see this collab." The post comes just a week following the release of DJ Scheme and Ski Mask's collaborative Preseason EP.
DJ Scheme (real name Gabe Guerra) is credited as an influential tastemaker in modern hip-hop, having worked closely with XXXtentacion, Fat Nick, and Ski Mask among others. Guerra has made his name on the cutting edge of hip-hop and recently earned the opportunity to DJ for the 2019 XXL Freshman Class cyphers.

The track "represents finding the strength and trust to lean on somebody," according to Said The Sky.
At this point the big question is whether the outcome of this collaboration will be a primarily hip hop or electronic focused track. Skrillex has had a hand in numerous cuts outside the electronic music ecosystem, most recently appearing on Ed Sheeran's album.
