Skrillex Releases Remix of Kelsey Lu's 2018 Single "Due West"
Skrillex has returned with what he's alluded to be his first of many releases in the near future. The superstar producer has released his remix of Kelsey Lu's "Due West," a cut from her debut LP Blood.
Having worked on the original single, Skrillex was well positioned to put his spin on the track. Everyone knows how transformative Skrillex's remixes are and his take here is no exception. "Due West" receives a tangible, dance floor-friendly beat while managing to preserve the vocal driven focus of the original.
While Skrillex is perhaps best known for his heaviest hitting tracks, he's been significantly invested in collaborations with pop songstresses such as Elohim, NSTASIA, and Kelsey Lu. The pivot towards pop has added to an already well diversified discography.
