A 2011 collaboration between Skrillex and Wolfgang Gartner's has received an unexpected remix from a little-known artist. LICK has delivered a dissonant downtempo version of "Devil's Den" far removed from the upbeat sound of the original mix.

The complextro musings of the source material scarcely pierce the gloomy veil of LICK's foreboding "Devil's Den" remix. Somewhat Boys Noize-reminiscent sound design follows a slowed-down beat structure to yield a much darker iteration of what Skrillex and Gartner delivered eight years ago.

The LICK project may be a newcomer to the EDM space, but his associations paint a promising picture of his potential. After debuting last year with a remix of the Stranger Things theme song, he's accompanied numerous remixes with the two-track REVOLT EP that came out on Zeds Dead's Deadbeats imprint.

LICK has yet to publicly disclose his identity at the time of writing.
