Slushii (real name Julian Scanlan) rings in the new year with the release of his “2019 End Of Year Mix," which features sneak peeks of great new music set to come out in 2020.
Clocking in at just under one hour long, Scanlan’s mix recaps the successful year he’s had and prepares fans for what’s to come in the new year. The mix opens up with two heavy-hitting collaborations from his October EP, Watch Yo Back. Scanlan highlights some of the most popular bass tracks to come out this year, such as Peekaboo's “Whistleblower” and Duke & Jones' “Isolate,” while simultaneously weaving in hints of his own new music to come next year.
Scanlan’s mix balances between decade-defining artists like Galantis, Skrillex, and Marshmello, as well as some fresh faces that rocked the bass scene in recent years such as REAPER and TYNAN. Along with his own IDs, Scanlan also teased upcoming releases from artists like Yellow Claw and TVBOO.
Though the young artist has kept busy with touring globally, as well as the debut of his side project sapientdreams, his “2019 End Of Year” recap is his first mix to release in over a year.
