Thandi Phoenix teams up with Rudimental for a new single 'My Way'
Rising Australian star Thandi Phoenix teamed up with British group Rudimental for her debut UK single "My Way." The single is out via Island Records / Neon.
"My Way" proves Phoenix’ ability to glide effortlessly between electronic genres, adapting perfectly to Rudimental's eclectic production, soul vibes, and heavy drum breaks.
“Thandi’s vocals are amazing! Her latest track "My Way" has a lot of Rudimental elements in there, it’s got all the ingredients that make you want to jump on it and do something with it” – said the group in a press release.
This is the first, but probably not the last collaboration between Phoenix and the East London group. The friendship between them was after Rudimental discovered Phoenix back in 2015. Being blown away by her performances, quartet invited her to join them as main support on their Australian tour. This way, Thandi Phoenix has a great chance to join the likes of Anne-Marie, John Newman, Ella Eyre and Jess Glynne who all got their big break after collaborating with the group.
