The Chainsmokers just released a new single and music video, enlisting rapper/singer Ty Dolla $ign and singer/songwriter bülow for "Do You Mean." Just as the superstar duo did last year with their album sick boy, they are revealing the singles comprising their upcoming full-length work World War Joy one by one throughout the year, until they shape to become the final album.

"Do You Mean" marks the third single off the project, following slow trap ballad "Kills You Slowly" and "Why Do You Love" with band 5 Seconds of Summer. The Chainsmokers (real names Alex Pall and Drew Taggart), manage to combine the diversity of their featured artists on "Do You Mean," making up for a bright result. The soft instrumental perfectly backs up Taggart, Ty Dolla $ign and bülow's singing voices, who show great synergy, while the mid-tempo drums provide the listener with a subtle, uplifting feeling.

"Do You Mean" was also released with a music video directed by Spencer Miller that features Taggart and Pall, and is as bright as the single.

Over the past years, The Chainsmokers have fully transitioned from EDM house act to fully enjoying pop stardom. Their debut album Memories...Do Not Open, was released early 2017, and featured collaborations with Coldplay, Florida Georgia LineJhené Aiko and more.
