Tiësto Delivers "Big Room Remix" of Billie Eilish's "Bad Guy"
You know somebody's a hot name in the music world when producers from either end of the EDM spectrum are remixing their songs. Last month Zeds Dead offered up a dubstep remix of "bury a friend" by Billie Eilish, and now Tiësto's followed suit with his own rendition of her recent single "Bad Guy."
Although it's dubbed "Tiësto's Big Room Remix," the Dutch superstar DJ/producer's reimagining of "Bad Guy" sounds more akin to his recent Brazilian bass-tinged releases. Its gravelly bass line hints more so at the style he captured in last year's "Grapevine" than at the trumpeting synth leads of his 2012-2016 discography.
Eilish has rapidly risen to fame in the years following her 2016 viral debut single, "Ocean Eyes." Her first studio-length album arrived last month in the form of When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?
Tiësto will resume touring with a performance at MAYDAY Dortmund in Dortmund, Germany tomorrow, April 30th.
