Is Mesto the latest electronic musician to be taken under Tiësto's wing? If the past year is any indicator, it appears so. Last month - nearly to the day - the two Dutchmen released a song titled "Coming Home," and this Friday, March 29th they'll follow it up with the aptly titled "Can't Get Enough."
Although Tiësto (real name Tijs Michiel Verwest) has favored a more radio-friendly sound as of late, "Coming Home" saw Mesto (real name Melle Stomp) pull him back into the progressive house orbit. If "Can't get Enough" follows a similar approach, it will be replete with saccharine melodies and a bounce fit for the main stage.
In addition to being one of the few artists ever to secure the #1 spot on the DJ Mag Top 100 three separate years, Verwest has launched the careers of such big names as Martin Garrix, Hardwell and Danny Avila. His professional relationship with Stomp began prior to their 2018 collaboration. The previous year, Stomp and Curbi's "Bruh" came out on Verwest's Musical Freedom record label.
