Lucky fans who attended Tomorrowland 2019 were treated to a new Tiësto (real name Tijs Verwest) track titled "Acordeao." The track took off online and topped the charts of DJ tracker 1001tracklists. The infectious single is in collaboration with Colombian DJ and producer Moska, who is the first Latin American producer to sign with Verwest's label, Musical Freedom. They previously collaborated on a remix of Verwest's "Century" featuring Calvin Harris.
"Acordeao" features the iconic Colombian sample and composition "Fiesta En Corralejo," which gives it a special flair for those familiar with the famous track. The original composer, Ruben Dario Salcedo Ruiz, provided full support in the electronic reimagining of the source material. The accordion shines bright in the forefront. Its a fun and bright song that will make even the most demure wallflower want to sway their hips.
Verwest's summer has been filled with remixes prior to this drop. He recently reworked Illenium's "Good Things Fall Apart" into a "Big Room Remix." Prior to that, he took on "Summer Days" by Martin Garrix, Mackelmore, and Patrick Stump. He also delivered a beautiful homage to Avicii with the remix of his the late producer's track "Tough Love."
Moska has positioned himself as one of the top DJ/producers in Latin America at only 25 years old. He signed with Verwest's label in 2018 and has since racked in over 5 million streams on his releases. He has received live support from Martin Garrix, Afrojack, Hardwell, and many others. He is proving a force to be reckoned with.
