The collaboration follows a recent solo release from Khan on Diplo's own Mad Decent label. Few would have expected a collaboration between these two heavy hitters would take the form of a tech house record, but together the two managed to formulate a club floor killer.
Commenting on the collaboration and the EP project, Diplo (real name Thomas Wesley Pentz Jr.) acknowledged Khan's work is frequently played among a wide spectrum of club DJs. "Valentino is on the fringe of every genre, and all his records are consistent in every DJ's sets. He's made many future classics, so I'm glad to finally have an EP full of them being released through Mad Decent," he stated.
