In celebration of the 10-year anniversary of The Bloody Beetroots and Steve Aoki's seminal track “Warp,” the Dim Mak label boss called on fellow Los Angeles-based producer Kayzo (real name Hayden Capuozzo) to put a fresh twist on the infamous collaboration. Cleverly titled the “2.019” remix, Aoki and Kayzo put a staggering, high-energy spin on the beloved dance music classic.
“Warp 2.019” was given an appropriately massive world-debut during Aoki’s Sunday night set at this year's flagship Las Vegas edition of Electric Daisy Carnival. Kayzo and The Bloody Beetroots even joined Aoki onstage for a joint live performance of the festival-smashing new remix.
This remix of Warp isn't the first time Capuozzo has worked with Aoki, either. Capuozzo was Aoki's top choice to remix his hit single "How Else (featuring Rich The Kid and ILoveMakonnen)," and the two have also been teasing future original collaborations on their social media channels as well. We expect big things from any future endeavors between these two titans of EDM.
