We all remember the classic arcade games growing up: Pacman, Astroids, Frogger, and Space Invaders. Now Ableton Live features sounds from these classic games.
The magic is in the Max4Live devices by Isotonik. Titled "The Arcade Series," you can recreate the classic arcade games like Space Invaders, Pacman, Frogger, and Asteroids into sequencers so you can play video games and become sonically inspired.
You can also use the various MIDI controllers like Machine Jam, Push, and Novation Launchpad to control the sequencers. This adds to the nostalgic feeling of playing the game. The sequencers will cost a measly $32 USD, so it's a very cost-effective way to have some fun while producing and getting inspired by those good ole classic arcade games.
