Above & Beyond Lay Down a Chill Mix on BBC Radio 1
Above & Beyond (real names Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness, and Paavo Siljamäki) sat down with Phil Taggart on BBC Radio 1's Chillest Show for a highly laid-back mix.
Their eclectic mix begins an hour in and lasts about 30 relaxed minutes. It includes cuts from Above & Beyond themselves, as well as tunes from Hobo Johnson, John Hopkins, Peter Gabriel, and many more. During their interview, Siljamäki elaborates that the mix was inspired by their latest album Flowstate, which was brought to life by their yoga set at Burning Man in 2014. Check out their mix here.
Above & Beyond have solidified their place as one of the most legendary dance music acts of all time. They recently wrapped up their second Group Therapy Weekender at the Gorge Amphitheatre in Washington and are amping up for another run of festivals including Das Energi, Creamfields, and Electric Zoo.
