When it comes to rallying crowds, few do it like Alan Walker—but the chart-topping dance music artist's recent tour raised the bar even higher. With nearly 160,000 tickets sold across nine cities, the Indian leg of his "Walkerworld" tour became the highest-grossing international tour ever in the country, IQ Magazine reports.

Promoted by Sunburn, Asia's biggest electronic music festival, Walker's latest tour captivated audiences across India from Mumbai to Shillong. The monthlong run reportedly generated over $5 million in revenue, underscoring the "Faded" producer's unique appeal as well as the unstoppable growth of India's live music market.

The nine-city spectacle saw Walker perform at arenas with capacities from 10,000 to 30,000, marking his debut in cities like Kochi, where his fan base turned out in record numbers.

Surprise appearances by Bollywood icons like Alia Bhatt and musicians like Pritam added to the fanfare, uniquely elevating the energy of each stop.
