Apple Acquires Shazam For $400 Million
Apple and Shazam are about to be best friends. Apple just bought the popular music app and is upgrading it in a big way. Commercial free. Users will soon enjoy Shazam without any annoying ads. Game changer. The two seem like a match made in heaven with their apparent strengths. Shazam can identify music and Apple can stream it. They are the perfect couple. Apple dropped $400 million for Shazam and shares how much they love the application.
Apple:
“With pioneering innovation in music identification, Shazam helps people discover, interact with and share video, audio or printed content across devices and mediums — and allows music fans to follow their favorite artists and share in the thrill of discovery.”
We couldn't agree more. We are excited about this new Shazam and Apple relationship.
