The fourth annual edition Bonanza Campout in Heber, Utah has been canceled. Organizers apologized to attendees in an official announcement on May 8th, explaining the sudden cancellation was due to officials refusing to grant a liquor license, and giving information in regards to ticket and lodging refunds. As read in the official statement: "Due to being denied the necessary licensing and permits from Wasatch County and the Utah DABC, Bonanza Campout has made the decision to cancel this year's event."
“Our team is committed to providing top-tier fan experiences and works year-round to curate and produce a world-class festival environment," added the team behind Bonanza Campout. "After reviewing all alternative options, we have come to the conclusion that there is no possible way to relocate the festival and still provide both artists and attendees with the same level of production and fan experience that Bonanza Campout has become known for."
Bonanza Campout was to be held June 21st to June 23rd. DJ Snake, rapper G-Eazy and Australian duo Empire of the Sun headlined the impressive lineup which showed a fairly big diversity. Rappers Machine Gun Kelly, Smokepurrp and Blackbear were scheduled to perform, as well as acts such as Chromeo, Whethan, Manila Killa, Big Wild and AlunaGeorge.
