Just steps away from the Financial District, Pier 17 at the Seaport District NYC is snugly located close to The World Trade Center and also Wall Street. This makes sure the audiences it draws are diverse and eclectic, from tourists to the financial mavens of Wall Street. While the Seaport District is drenched in history, the re-launch of Pier 17 along with its rooftop featuring top of the line art and technology to the culinary goodness on offer, has been a game changer.

From the Seaport Food Lab to The Rooftop at Pier 17 Concert Series, there is a lot happening and we're here to break it down for you.

Five stories high, with stunning views of The Brooklyn Bridge, The Empire State building and NYC skyline views from your dreams, the Rooftop at Pier 17 is a 1.5-acre outdoor space. The space offers food trucks, VIP cabana lounges, and an opportunity to watch some of your favorite artists in a cozy yet comfortable setting. Optimizing the use of this stunning space for live events by way of the Concerts Series programmed in partnership with Live Nation, there are a number of noteworthy acts making their way here.

What kicked off the Concert Series in grand fashion was a free community concert by Jon Batiste and the Dap-Kings on July 28! Through the summer, the series saw performances by some of music and comedy's best! From Kings of Leon to Amy Schumer and Trevor Noah!

In addition to its breathtaking views, the Seaport District collaborated with Alexander Green and Symmetry Labs to create a groundbreaking stage design called Dematerialized. The innovative design is made up of 400 individual cube elements comprised of 150,000 controllable LEDS controlled by Symmetry Labs’ patented volumetric lighting software. It’s the first stage design to use volumetrically mapped LEDs: every single LED has its 3D position precisely measured through computer vision.
