Who says modern DJ sets leave no room for spontaneity? deadmau5 surprised Dillon Francis onstage while the former artist played "Dancing Queen" by Abba during his set at Escape: Psycho Circus. The result is nothing short of comedy gold.
As can be seen in the clip tweeted by Francis, deadmau5 (Joel Zimmerman) climbed on the DJ table and encouraged him to stand on the opposite end. The image of both artists' arms swaying to the nostalgic melodies of the Swedish disco pop group's classic single is without a doubt permanently etched into the memories of all who witnessed it.
Zimmerman and Francis' paths don't often cross as far as music is concerned, but when they do it's often tongue in cheek. A few years ago, the former artist contemplated leveraging a gambling debt to handcuff the latter to NGHTMRE for a week.
Zimmerman will continue his tour with a performance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado on November 1st. Francis' next show will take place at DAER South Florida in Davie, Florida on the same date.
