Will Vegas be getting a new resident DJ? That looks to be the case. Today, legendary producer deadmau5 (real name Joel Zimmerman) took to Twitter to release a cryptic video. The short clip features the iconic mouse head plummeting down from space and landing straight on the Las Vegas strip.
At the end of the clip, the coordinates 36.114984, -115.172750 are displayed. When tracking that location, it looks to land on Drai's Beachclub & Nightclub in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Zimmerman has previously held a residency at XS Nightclub and was the highest billed DJ in Las Vegas at Hakkasan Nightclub at one point. He most recently released the third installment of his mau5ville series, mau5ville: level 3, as well as composing his first ever film score for the Netflix movie Polar.
deadmau5 has yet to reveal any dates for his upcoming residency at the time of writing.
