The DJ Mag Top 100 results are in - and despite the usual discourse regarding how relevant they are in today's EDM landscape, they reflect how much the industry has changed in recent years.

There are plenty of familiar faces, to be sure. Martin Garrix's three-year streak has come to a close as Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike have nabbed the #1 spot for the first time since 2015. His fall to #2 is somewhat telling considering that he recently expressed indifference to the awards in an interview.

Serial top 10 winners from years past have seen a much sharper descent, however. For the first time in recent memory Hardwell is not in the top 10, deadmau5 fell 12 spots to #71, and Diplo fell a whopping 25 places to #67.

Carl Cox, Above & Beyond and Calvin Harris all rose through the ranks, however, moving up 18, 22 and 21 spots, respectively. The presence of women on the Top 100 is also steadily growing; artists like Alison Wonderland and Charlotte de Witte accounting for eight of the 100 entries. The former also stands out as the highest climber having moved up 52 spots, and the latter made her DJ Mag Top 100 debut in 2019.
