DJ Snake Announces that His Upcoming Album is Almost Finished
Though DJ Snake has been always keeping fairly active and releasing music, he still hasn't followed up his debut album, Encore, which came in summer 2016, and featured collaborations with Skrillex, Justin Bieber, Travis Scott, Young Thug, Yellow Claw and many more. So far in 2019, the superstar (real name William Sami Étienne Grigahcine) has released “Try Me” with mysterious producer Plastic Toy, the heavy “South Side” with Eptic and star-studded “Enzo” with rappers Sheck Wes, Offset, 21 Savage and Gucci Mane.
Now, it looks like DJ Snake's upcoming album - which has been teased for some time now - may be closer than fans think, as Grigahcine recently announced in a tweet that it is 95% done. Whether the previously released singles will be featured on the album remains to be seen, as well as DJ's recently-teased, second collaboration with Skrillex.
In the past five years, DJ Snake has gained worldwide recognition and status, and is now one of the most influential figures in modern dance music. The hitmaker has released everything from pop music to dubstep and trap bangers. Some of his collaborators include Selena Gomez, Major Lazer, French Montana, Bipolar Sunshine and more.
