If one of Eric Prydz' monolithic performances is high up on your agenda for New Year's Eve, then rejoice - the Swedish DJ/producer has shared his plans for the holiday. He will grace the decks for an extended midnight slot at Echostage in Washington, D.C., and he's bringing his protégé Christoph along with him.
The event will run eight hours on the evening of Tuesday, December 31st, 2019. As can be expected based on the two artists' usual fare, the occasion should be rife with progressive house vibes and an expertly crafted musical narrative.
A counterbalance to the styles of EDM that have typically swept festival stages of late, Prydz has amassed a diehard following for his style of four-on-the-floor dance music. He released his long-awaited debut album, OPUS, in 2016, and continues to sell out arenas with his EPIC, HOLO and V O I D concept shows.
Tickets to the 2019 New Years Eve gathering at Echostage will go on sale Friday, October 4th at 10:00 AM EST.
