Excision Delivers Massive Remix Pack for 2018 Album, Apex
Excision has brought together bass music's finest on a loaded remix pack for his most recent studio-length album, Apex. Though bringing together numerous like minded producers like 12th Planet, Dion Timmer, Black Tiger Sex Machine to give Apex a second rush must have been no small task, Excision (real name Jeff Abel) made it look easy on what could be his most ambitious remix album yet.
Yesterday, EDM.com premiered 12th Planet's heavy-hitting remix of "Wake Up" by Abel and Sullivan King, which appropriately set the tone for the rest of the project. Now fans can listen to the adrenaline-fueled Apex: The Remixes in full, which includes 14 tracks in total.
Abel has long been perceived as a champion of upcoming talent, and his remix packs continue to serve as a platform for elevating rising artists. The veteran dubstep producer is doing more than ever to expand his profile and his platform with the growing success of his Lost Lands Festival, which is set to return for its third annual event in late September.
