This remix album is stacked.

Excision (real name Jeff Abel) has unveiled the artists remixing the tracks on his latest album, Apex.

For the effort aptly titled Apex: The Remixes, Abel has enlisted some of the most talented names in bass music to put a spin on some of his biggest tracks. Black Tiger Sex Machine will unleash their rendition of his collaboration with Illenium and Shallows, "Gold," while Subtronics' long-awaited remix of "Vault" will finally see a release. Other remixers on the album include SLANDER and Shadient, 12th Planet, Mastadon, Boogie T, Spag Heddy, and many more. Apex: The Remixes is due out July 26th.

Abel is a veritable dubstep icon, consistently raising the bar for bass music with each release. Just last month he impressed yet again by putting out a collaborative EP with Dion Timmer titled Breaking Through. This coming October he'll be hosting his third annual Lost Lands Festival in Legend Valley, Ohio. Find tickets here.
