The EDM world's favorite masked DJ/producer has hinted at new music that will appeal to fans of top 40 rap. Adding to a list of high-profile collaborators that includes the likes of Migos, Selena Gomez and Bastille, he has more or less confirmed a joint effort with Chris Brown and Tyga.
Without explicitly stating that he would be releasing a collaboration with the two artists, Marshmello hinted at such a project in no uncertain terms. Specifically, he posted the following photo of himself standing next to the two artists on his Instagram account:
Brown has previously worked with EDM artists like Benny Benassi and Deorro. Tyga has teamed up with Brown in the past - but save for a feature on "Molly" by Cedric Gervais he boasts little to no EDM crossover tracks. For both artists, it will be the first time collaborating with Marshmello.
The anonymous EDM superstar himself has enjoyed the mainstream spotlight for several years now. Most recently, he was the only electronic music artist to be awarded an AMA and reached #10 on the 2018 installment of the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs awards series.
