Last weekend at Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, club goers got treated to a full weekend of performances from Grammy-nominated producer and DJ, Nic Fanciulli. Unfortunately, things went south during one of his performances as an out-of-control club attendee appears to have incited a bizarre conflict with him.
The crazed club goer hopped in front of Fanciulli during his DJ set and began pulling at the DJ equipment, apparently trying to pull pieces of the setup off of the stage. He was successful in removing the mixer, and took it with him off of the stage as other attendees began pulling at him to try and remove him from the altercation.
Security was apparently nowhere to be found, and the other clubgoers took it upon themselves to try and remove the attacker from the club, some even going as far as striking the man. As soon as the lights in the club came on, security apprehended the man and removed him from the club, ultimately getting the DJ equipment back from him.
It's still unclear as to what this club goer's intentions were in disrupting the performance and trying to remove the DJ equipment.
