RL Grime went to drastic measures to raise the bar on Shaq's monologue in Halloween 7.

Guy Fieri has had some unexpected EDM crossovers this year. The cable television personality appeared in the video for Diplo's "So Long" featuring Cam under his Thomas Wesley alias, and now he's delivered a monologue for RL Grime's Halloween VIII mix.

As a remix of Luniz' '1995 classic "I Got 5 On It" ushers in the beginning of the mix, Fieri addresses RL Grime (real name Henry Alfred Steinway). He compliments him on his "spicy mix," saying that he might "have to call the flavor town fire department."

RL Grime's Halloween Mixes

Steinway's Halloween mixes have become a favorite tradition among EDM fans around the world. This edition's tracklist includes music by Steinway himself as well as that of Brodinski, MineSweepa, Gesaffelstein and more. There are also several unreleased IDs.

Fieri was arguably a more off-brand feature than the one on Halloween 7. Last year's mix kicked off with outrageous commentary by DJ Diesel A.K.A. Shaquille O'Neal.

Steinway will continue touring with a performance at EDC Orlando on November 8th.
