Skrillex, Major Lazer and More Announced for EDC Japan
The lineup for the 2019 edition of EDC Japan has arrived in a massive first wave. Skrillex, Major Lazer, Armin van Buuren and more are set to take Tokyo Bay by storm this May at Zozo Marine Stadium and Makuhari Beach Park.
Despite being a newer installment of the flagship Insomniac brand, Electric Daisy Carnival has had no trouble creating memorable experiences in Japan over the last couple of years. Insomniac and GMO have partnered together to make EDC Japan successful within a short period of time; the festival brought in over 80,000 festival attendees last year.
For their 2019 event, EDC Japan is bringing some of the heaviest in both established and upcoming bass music acts along for the ride. From Excision to K?D, the lineup is full of heavyweights. Meanwhile, Armin van Buuren, Andrew Rayel, and Paul van Dyk add melodic variety to the roster. With that and a dose of everything in between, the initial phase represents the vast majority of subgenres in some capacity.
