12 years after his explosive “Mothership” tour stop shook the Tennessee farm, Skrillex is coming back to headline Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in 2026.
The forthcoming edition of Bonnaroo is already generating buzz thanks to a major headliner reveal first reported by festival insider The Festive Owl, who shared that Skrillex will top the bill when Bonnaroo returns to Manchester, Tennessee in June.
It’s a full-circle moment for the the dubstep icon, who last took the Bonnaroo stage in 2014 during his “Mothership” tour, an era-defining run that helped cement his status as a festival mainstay. Now, more than a decade later, he’s poised to return with a fresh wave of momentum.
That momentum comes largely in the form of his massive album F*CK U Skrillex You Think UR Andy Warhol But UR Not!! <3, which recently earned him a Grammy nomination. It’s a record that’s been tearing through dancefloors and awards ballots alike while setting the stage for what should be a high-stakes festival season in 2026.
Bonnaroo’s 2026 return comes after one of the most challenging chapters in the festival’s history. The 2025 event was cut short and the remainder canceled after severe weather and a grim forecast from the National Weather Service forced organizers to evacuate the the Bonnaroo Farm. Against that backdrop, Skrillex is providing a much-needed morale boost for an audience that has awaited his return for over a decade.
Bonnaro is set to return June 11-14th, 2026.
