Slushii to Put His Spin on K-Pop Group BTS' "Make It Right"
It's been nearly a year since Slushii served up a remix of "Waste It On Me," Steve Aoki's collaboration with BTS. Now, he's revealed that his rendition of another song by the seven-part South Korean boy band is on the way.
Slushii (real name Julian Scanlan) took to Twitter with the announcement. The song in question is "Make It Right," a single that appeared on BTS' April 2019 album, Map of the Soul. Scanlan later clarified that his remix will be of the original as opposed to the EDM remix featuring Lauv.
In the past year or so, Scanlan has proven himself a versatile talent. His late 2019 album DREAM encapsulated softer soundscapes than his bombastic brand of main stage-friendly electronic music. He has since announced that a sequel to the ambient/R&B/downtempo effort is on the way.
Neither Scanlan nor BTS have mentioned an official release date for his "Make It Right" remix at the time of writing.
