TOKiMONSTA Announces New Studio Album, "Eternal Reverie"
Prepare your dancing feet for Eternal Reverie, TOKiMONSTA's upcoming fifth studio album.
In addition to the album's reveal, the Grammy-nominated DJ and producer today released a new single, "Switch It." The hip-house track, a collaboration with Cakes da Killa and GAWD, will tide fans over until the album's fall 2024 release under TOKiMONSTA's own Young Art Records banner to align with the label's 10-year anniversary.
The album's title is fitting, as TOKiMONSTA's lighthearted yet beautifully complex beats are sure to put listeners into a dreamlike reverie of their own. "Switch It" fits the bill, immediately putting us in the mood to dance at a sun-kissed poolside party.
R&B duo GAWD combine their sultry vocals with buttery melodies that appeal to the fierce, feminine side of any listener. Cakes da Killa then jumps in with witty lyricism, chock full of smooth metaphor and rhyme, reflecting his bold style.
