Last weekend a post to the Wynn Resorts Instagram account fueled speculation that Swedish House Mafia would perform at XS Las Vegas in 2019. In a manner of speaking, their hopes appear to be coming to fruition. Both Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso have announced individual residencies at the superclub, and Axwell is expected to follow suit.
"2019 is all about challenging perspectives in new spaces for me and I'm excited to be back home at the Wynn," Ingrosso tweeted. "I’ll never forget those legendary nights/mornings we shared together and I’m excited to announce that I'm back!" read the announcement shared from Angello's account.
Swedish House Mafia have not announced any 2019 U.S. dates at the time of writing. It has come to light that the iconic trio have "lots of new music coming," and it's safe to assume that they'll debut much of it at this year's edition of Ultra Music Festival (assuming it takes place as planned). The EDM supergroup ended their five-year hiatus with a performance at last year's edition of the gathering.
