Ultra’s RESISTANCE Reveals Unmatched Lineup Of House & Techno Acts - EDM.com - The Latest Electronic Dance Music News, Reviews & Artists

Ultra has big plans for its 20th anniversary.

While the renowned festival has branched out to hosting events all across the globe, Miami remains homeground for Ultra. With the 20th edition coming up next month, there’s a lot to be excited about.

Apart from an eclectic phase 1 lineup announcement, last week, Ultra dropped another bombshell on fans with a full RESISTANCE lineup reveal.

Ultra 2018 - RESISTANCE linup

RESISTANCE lineup for 2018 edition of Ultra Music Festival Miami

Are you drooling yet? Because that lineup is just exquisite.

For those who don’t know, RESISTANCE is Ultra’s curation of the world’s finest house and techno acts. As the genres continue to grow in popularity, it’s no surprise that RESISTANCE hosted 33 events across 5 continents in 2017 alone. If you’re tired of hearing the DJ shout “3-2-1-GO!” or simply want a taste of something different, far from mainstream, RESISTANCE is the place to be.

At Ultra Miami, the RESISTANCE brand actually spans two stages.

The first, a dystopian spider that shoots lasers out of its eyes, courtesy of Arcadia Spectacular. The ‘Spider’ will include performances from the likes of Better Lost Than Stupid (Davide Squillace, Mattias Tanzmann & Martin Buttrich), Chris Liebing, Guti b2b wAFF, Hot Since 82, J.E.S.u.S (Jackmaster, Eats Everything, Skream and Seth Troxler), Nic Fanciulli, Patrick Topping & Special Guest, Sasha & John Digweed and Stephan Bodzin (live), among others.

Aptly named the Carl Cox Megastructure, the second stage is astounding in size, spectacle and quality of performers. Ultra veteran and dance music legend Carl Cox will host the stage and perform 2 sets. With Adam Beyer, Jamie Jones, Joseph Capriati, Josh Wink, Nastia, a special b2b2b performance from Dubfire, Nicole Moudaber & Paco Osuna and a debut performance from Pan-Pot all set to the rock the stage, Ultra is really giving attendees an unparalleled musical experience.

While it may almost seem like its own festival, RESISTANCE is really a part of Ultra. Though it may seem like more of an offshoot, RESISTANCE will take place at Ultra Music Festival in Miami on March 23, 24 and 25 next month. General Admission and VIP tickets are currently on sale at ultramusicfestival.com priced at $379.95 and $1,499.95 respectively, but the festival is 90% sold out so act now before it’s too late.
